Yesterday was a day I will never forget.
On Wednesday 15th July 2026, surrounded by incredible guests, our wonderful team, and families from across the Harrow community, I stood outside Scribbles Early Learning Centre and cut the ribbon. In that moment, everything we had worked so hard for became real. Scribbles Early Learning Centre is officially, and proudly, open.
A Day Full of Meaning
I have been in early years education for a long time, and I can honestly say that yesterday ranked among the most special days of my career. To see so many people come together to celebrate this moment, guests who believe in what we are doing, a team who have poured their hearts into getting us ready, and families who have trusted us with their children, it was truly overwhelming in the best possible way.
The ribbon cutting itself was a moment I had been looking forward to for so long. We were honoured to be joined by some truly special guests, and their presence meant the world to myself and the entire Scribbles team. To have such esteemed members of our community standing with us as we marked this new chapter was something I will always be grateful for.
Why We Did This
Scribbles Early Learning Centre was born from a simple but deeply held belief, that every child deserves a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where they can learn, grow and flourish. Wednesday was not just about reopening a nursery. It was about recommitting to that belief and to the families of South Harrow who deserve outstanding early years provision on their doorstep.
This community has given so much to us, and we are here to give back. Every activity station, every member of staff, every detail of our setting has been chosen and designed with your children in mind. Wednesday was our way of saying; we are here, we are ready, and we cannot wait to welcome your little ones.
What Happens Next
The doors are open and we are now welcoming enquiries from families who would like to find out more about Scribbles.
